Taj's reading simulator ยท 60 seconds

One paragraph.
A lot competing for your attention.

Read an SAT-style passage with moving letters, classroom sounds, and distractions. Then try it with supports.

Sound starts when you press play. You can pause or mute anytime.

A note from Taj โ€” what this can and can't show

This is a simulation I designed that feels kind of like having ADHD and dyslexia. It's not perfectly accurate, but you can get an idea of why reading can be harder, and what might help.

Moving letters are a visual metaphor for effort, not how dyslexia literally looks. Dyslexia mainly affects word reading and spelling; ADHD affects attention regulation. Everyone's experience differs. This isn't a diagnostic test.
